I watch Ivan Barbashev every home game here in Moncton, and his game grows every single game. He has been excellent and plays a nice brand of hockey, has some 2 way presence as well which is nice to see!

They're no good, Frenchie! They will all leave the NHL and go to the KHL, like Yakupov has told everyone on this site he is going to do.

In general this is a weak draft early and there may never be a clear first line forward coming out of it from any country. I am not saying it can't happen, but in my opinion, there are far too missing parts in each and every prospect to warrant elevation to possible NHL elite level.
What I do like about the class is the large amount of long term developmental defenders who play both ends with good feet and skill, None may ever be an elite first pairing guy, but there may be many who play in the NHL five years from now.
2015 is again a really good class in the first - second rounds, and includes a real early top end that may be real NHL first liners unlike the likes of Reinhardt, Bennett, Nylander, Draisaiti, dal Cole, Kapanen, Virtanen, Ritchie, Vrana, and Mistele.

Except for two propsects, all these Russian are almost destined to middle and late round status or never drafted, if the current trend of bypassing them due to the lack of a transfer agreements and home sickness, and even Yakupov's indication he doesn't like to back check....
